Atmospheres of Akavir

Description

Which may alternatively be titled as 'Shout's Screenshot Dump'. Now obviously I drew none of these, but ESO provides a beautiful diverse range of dynamic environments, and since obviously we can't actually go to Akavir since it hasn't been made (yet?), the roleplay must be supported in parts of Tamriel. So have a moodboard, if you will, of some of the Akaviri landscapes I envision. I wanted to get all five regions down but the canvas wouldn't extend to fit two more rows of five screenies, so I'll split it and work on uploading some images of the Tsaesci and Tang Mo regions another time.

-The Wilderland-
"Akavir is the kingdom of the beasts." - Mysterious Akavir

In the middling-north of Akavir there's a big chunk of region that has refused to be conquered and ruled since the close of the Dragon Empire, and it's irrefutably the most feral part of the continent. Both deep forest and riverways harbour all manner of savage primordial creatures engrossed in generational wars of their own, from klys'Sra and black tigers prowling the undergrowth, to direpike and giant eels gliding in hungry wait. Woe to the ignorant that dare set foot in the ancient heart of Akavir, for the land itself consumes as ravenously as its savage sentients.

-Region of Ka Po'Tun-
"Ka Po'Tun is the 'Tiger-Dragon's Empire.' The cat-folk here are ruled by the divine Tosh Raka, the Tiger-Dragon." - Mysterious Akavir
Dominating the northern-west of Akavir lies the nation of the Ka Po'Tun, where much of their land rises arching and austere around them. Flinty crags, parapets of stone, and swallowing chasms shape the land of their empire into a labyrinth of guile and rustic beauty that only the tigerfolk are confident in navigating, with aid from their hardy goat-elk steeds. Regardless, the region of Ka Po'Tun has seen many a merciless assault from their sworn nemeses in the south, and the stubborn land demands from its defenders as much as it does from the invaders.

-Region of Kamal-
"Kamal is 'Snow Hell'. Demons live there, armies of them." - Mysterious Akavir
The northern peninsula has long been shunned and feared by the southern empires, described as a bleak and lifeless land of monsters, ice, and magic. Once it was said the region of Kamal rivalled in size that of the Tsaesci's realm, but much of it was sunken to the seas during an ancient war between the Ka Po'Tun and the Kamali, and the latter people nearly destroyed. Now the bitter, frozen haunts echo of tremendous arcane power gone to ruin; the snows whisper with their mutated thralls, rogue tendrils of rotten magic grown conscious stalk the mists, and the blizzards are quick to subdue those unfortunate enough to be caught in them.

Ooh, this is a really good idea, and the areas you've chosen match what we know of Akavir really well! So many pretty landscapes...
